Statement about Recent Attack on Yemen

Since yesterday evening, US and UK warplanes carried out air strikes on some points in Yemen's Sanaa, Hudaydah and Taiz cities. Biden talked in his statement about the attack: "Today, on my instructions, US military forces, together with the UK and with the support of Australia, Bahrain, Canada, and the Netherlands, launched an air strike on some targets used by the Houthi rebels in Yemen." Houthi authorities announced that 5 people have died and 6 people have been injured so far in the attacks.

The Houthis, who have significant authority in the northern region of Yemen, have specialized in naval attacks, especially during the Yemeni Civil War, which started in 2014. In retaliation for the massacre carried out by Israel in Gaza since October 7, the Houthis announced that they would continue to attack Israeli ships going to occupied Palestinian ports in the Red Sea and the Persian Gulf until the people in the Gaza Strip receive the food and medicine they need. The Houthis launched several anti-ship missiles into the Red Sea from the region under their control in Yemen.

US imperialism and the Zionist state of Israel, which fulfils its duty as the US’s department in the Middle East, not only commits genocide against the Palestinian people; It carries out air strikes against organizations that pose a threat to its commercial network in the region. This is not the first time we have witnessed this aggression of the USA and other Western imperialists: Palestine, Iraq, Afghanistan, Lebanon, Syria and we can list a few more examples. The natural resources of the Middle East, which provide the opportunity for all people living there, communities of different ethnicities and sects, to live together freely and equally, are being absorbed by the world's vampires. The blood absorbed is not only sources such as oil and natural gas, but also fleshy living human blood.

It has never been so actual to bury this imperialist capitalist order, which has turned the Middle East into a field of massacre, into history and to drown the bloodsuckers in their own blood. The demand for Socialist Middle East Federations is not just a dry word, it is a political-economic program that will determine the fate of all Middle Eastern peoples.
