International Debate Platform Launches

Launched by the Internationalist Conference in Naples, the internationaldebates.com website has launched in English, Spanish, Greek, and Italian. Coordinated by KA (Greece), PO (Argentina), TIR (Italy), and SEP (Turkey), the website has made a strong debut, featuring all joint statements released so far, as well as country reports from the organizing organizations, key articles on discussions on specific topics, and articles on joint campaigns.

The joint struggle line, established by organizations united under the united front struggle against imperialist war, based on a principled stance to elevate the internationalist class struggle against imperialist war, has been underway since 2023. We have taken significant steps toward establishing an independent class struggle line against the Ukraine war, NATO, US imperialism and Russian aggression. For two years, we have been waging a campaign rejecting the two-state "solution" to the genocide in Palestine and proposing that the solution lies in establishing a Socialist Middle East Federation. The joint declarations published throughout this process, the decisions made at meetings, forums, and conferences formed the basis for the creation of the website. Furthermore, as organizations united in principle on the basis of anti-war principles, it will also serve as a platform for discussions with comrades with whom we also share differences in political analysis and organizational and programmatic dimensions, on topics beyond the war agenda.

The most recent text on the website is a call signed by the coordination group established in Naples before the second anniversary of the genocidal attack on Gaza. The declaration, titled "The defeat of Zionist barbarism in Gaza is an urgent necessity for the workers of the world." was distributed in cities on three continents this week as part of the global actions for Palestine, signed by the organizations.

In addition to declarations and texts, we also include a text from the comrades in TIR in Italy, which reveals the nature of the UN vote on "recognizing the State of Palestine." We also invite you to read two articles by Argentine PO leader Pablo Heller and SEP(Turkey) leader Güneş Gümüş, which analyze the current state of the capitalist crisis, the escalating conflicts between powers, and the forms and effects of the trade war.

Three articles offer different perspectives on how the revolutionary left should respond to the split in the British Labour Party and the call for the formation of a new party initiated by Zarah Sultana and Jeremy Corbyn. These articles were written by TIR, V.U. Arslan from the SEP, and Maria "Chuli" Pelle from the PO.

Ten years after the referendum on the bailout terms imposed by the Troika of financial institutions, the KA in Greece contributes two related articles to the site, assessing the crisis of the Syriza government and developing the nature of a new labor reform supported by the Greek government in parliament.

Finally, we are publishing the national political situation document, voted on by the PO Central Committee, which examines the political situation in Argentina and how the electoral defeat of Milei, the massive economic crisis, and the growing popular struggles have converged. The document contains important observations from Argentine comrades regarding the course of the escalating class struggle in Argentina, a critical country in the global class struggle.

internationaldebates.com will also publish political and theoretical articles from participating organizations, activists from around the world, and anyone else who wishes to contribute to the publication. By expanding our translation and distribution efforts, we aim to ensure that a wider segment of the global working class and its exploited vanguard can access these texts in their own languages, read them more easily, discuss them, criticize them, or adopt them as their own.

The launch of the internationaldebates.com website aims to be a further step toward building the Revolutionary Workers' International and revolutionary parties in all countries, as outlined by the call for the Naples Conference as a political horizon.
