SEP Declaration: ISRAEL AND THE U.S. HANDS OFF IRAN!

This morning, Israel escalated its policy of turning the Middle East into a bloodbath by launching a large-scale attack on Iran. Dozens of people—including Iran’s Chief of Staff, commanders of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, scientists, and civilians—have lost their lives. As the Socialist Labourers Party, we strongly condemn this latest assault by imperialism and Zionism on Iran.

Backed by the unlimited support of the United States, the Zionist Israeli regime relentlessly pursues a policy of annihilation against all forces resisting its presence in the region. The peoples of Palestine, Lebanon, and Syria—who have tried to stand against the U.S.-Israel-NATO alliance—have been subjected to brutal massacres. In Syria, a long-planned imperialist regime change has finally been realized. Now, a war against Iran has been added to the ongoing atrocities in Yemen, Lebanon, and Gaza. It is clear that this morning’s attacks represent only the first wave. Israel's bloody policies will not cease—they will continue to inflame the region with new massacres and invasions. The peoples of the world and class-conscious workers must rise up and say “Stop!” to Israel's endless wars and massacres.

Israel justifies its recent strikes on Iran by invoking the fabricated threat of "nuclear weapons." But here is the truth: How can a state that possesses hundreds of nuclear warheads and refuses to submit them to any international oversight claim the right to bomb another country? Israel’s history is rife with such hypocrisy.

The true aim behind the aggressive policies of Israel and the U.S. is to seize Iran’s rich underground and surface resources, crush anti-Zionist resistance, and open the region to imperialist plunder. Their goal is to impose on Iran the same fate suffered by Afghanistan, Syria, Libya, Somalia, and Iraq.

The character of Iran’s capitalist mullah regime must not cause confusion. The only outcome of this imperialist intervention will be bloodshed, destruction, and the mass killing of innocent people. History has shown this time and again. Imperialism brings no freedom to any nation—it brings only mass death, occupation, and exploitation! The current regime in Iran can only be overthrown by Iran’s own working class, youth, women, and oppressed peoples. Imperialist aggression, on the other hand, serves only to suppress this struggle, strengthen the current regime under the guise of "national defense," and drain the revolutionary energy of the people in the fire of war.
For this reason, taking a firm and principled stance against imperialist intervention is an absolute necessity.

!اسرائیل و آمریکا، دست‌تان را از ایران کوتاه کنید

اسرائیل با حملات گسترده‌ای که صبح امروز علیه ایران انجام داد، سیاست تبدیل خاورمیانه به میدان خون را وارد مرحله‌ای تازه کرد. در این حملات، ده‌ها تن از جمله رئیس ستاد کل نیروهای مسلح ایران، فرماندهان سپاه پاسداران، دانشمندان و شهروندان غیرنظامی جان خود را از دست دادند. ما، به عنوان حزب کارگران سوسیالیست، یورش اخیر امپریالیسم و صهیونیسم علیه ایران را به شدت محکوم می‌کنیم.

رژیم صهیونیستی اسرائیل که از پشتیبانی بی‌قید و شرط آمریکا برخوردار است، سیاست نابودی تمام نیروهایی را که در برابرش در خاورمیانه مقاومت می‌کنند، بی‌رحمانه ادامه می‌دهد. ملت‌های فلسطین، لبنان و سوریه که در برابر ائتلاف آمریکا-اسرائیل-ناتو ایستادگی کرده‌اند، با کشتارهای گسترده‌ای روبه‌رو شده‌اند و طرح دیرین امپریالیست‌ها برای تغییر رژیم در سوریه سرانجام به ثمر نشسته است. اکنون در کنار کشتارهایی که هنوز در یمن، لبنان و غزه ادامه دارد، جنگی نیز علیه ایران آغاز شده است. روشن است که حملات امروز تنها نخستین موج از یک عملیات وسیع‌تر است. سیاست‌های خون‌بار اسرائیل متوقف نخواهد شد و با کشتارها و اشغال‌گری‌های جدید، منطقه را به آتش خواهد کشید. ملت‌های جهان و کارگران آگاه به طبقه خود باید در برابر سیاست جنگ‌افروزی و کشتار دائمی اسرائیل بایستند.

اسرائیل حملات اخیر خود به ایران را به بهانهٔ دروغین «تهدید سلاح هسته‌ای» توجیه می‌کند. اما واقعیت این است: دولتی که خود صدها کلاهک هسته‌ای دارد و هیچ‌یک از تسلیحاتش زیر نظر نهادهای بین‌المللی نیست، با کدام منطق اخلاقی یا حقوقی می‌تواند کشور دیگری را بمباران کند؟ تاریخ اسرائیل پر است از این‌گونه دورویی‌ها

در پس سیاست‌های تجاوزگرانهٔ اسرائیل و آمریکا علیه ایران، هدفی جز چنگ‌اندازی به منابع غنی زیرزمینی و روزمینی این کشور و درهم‌شکستن مقاومت ضدصهیونیستی و گشودن راه برای غارت امپریالیستی منطقه نهفته نیست. آن‌ها می‌خواهند با ایران همان کنند که با افغانستان، سوریه، لیبی، سومالی و عراق کردند.

ماهیت سرمایه‌داری-روحانی حاکم بر ایران نباید موجب سردرگمی شود. دخالت امپریالیستی تنها یک نتیجه دارد: خون، ویرانی و قتل‌عام ملت‌ها. تاریخ بارها این حقیقت را به ما نشان داده است. امپریالیسم برای هیچ کشوری آزادی نمی‌آورد؛ بلکه فقط مرگ‌های دسته‌جمعی، اشغال‌گری و استقرار نظم استثمارگرانه را به همراه دارد. در ایران، این تنها طبقهٔ کارگر، جوانان، زنان و ملت‌های تحت ستم‌اند که می‌توانند این حکومت را سرنگون کنند. تجاوز امپریالیستی فقط به سرکوب این مبارزه، تقویت حکومت فعلی به بهانهٔ «دفاع ملی» و به تحلیل بردن نیروی انقلابی مردم در گرداب جنگ خواهد انجامید. از این رو، اتخاذ موضعی قاطع و اصولی علیه هرگونه دخالت امپریالیستی، ضرورتی بی‌چون‌وچراست
